The obstetric unit is part of the Women's Clinic at the university hospital in Linköping. The mission of the Women's Clinic is to provide health and medical care in gynecology and obstetrics, education, and research. The obstetric inpatient care unit consists of delivery/antenatal ward, maternity ward, and maternity outpatient clinic. With us, you work in rotation against one or more of these units. Care is provided in modern facilities close to neonatal ICU and surgery.

Job Description
As a midwife in the delivery/maternity ward, you are an important part of the work to provide our patients with a safe and secure delivery and postpartum care based on the patient's unique needs. You will work in interdisciplinary teams with a shared focus on providing world-class care.
In the unit, we care for pregnant women from week 20 and handle deliveries from the entire Southeast healthcare region. You will work in the delivery/antenatal ward and/or maternity ward, maternity outpatient clinic, but you will be introduced to one of the units at a time. The goal is for you to be able to work across the entire care chain within 1-2 years. Work may also occur in the clinic's other units if needed.
About You
We are looking for someone who wants to work for a safe and attractive delivery and postpartum care for today's and tomorrow's women, where the person's unique needs are at the center. Previous professional experience in obstetric outpatient and inpatient care is an advantage.
As a person, you thrive in interdisciplinary teams. You are also someone who finds it easy to communicate and collaborate with both patients and colleagues. You are structured, independent, and have the ability to prioritize in acute situations, as well as enjoy a job that can vary in both tasks and workload.
